I continually receive questions from AFL fans asking
something like "Where can I obtain stickers,
decals, bumper stickers, etc. that display the AFL logo, AFL
team logos, or other images from the American Football
League?"
Unfortunately, the
NFL,
which technically owns the images, isn't very interested in
marketing them, so the answer to that question is
"Nowhere". Below are a series of AFL-oriented
images. To use them, you need some computer smarts.
If you don't have enough of same, ask a young relative or
friend to help.
First, create a new folder on your
computer and name it "AFL Images". Then, click on an
image below. When you do, the thumbnail (smaller
image) will expand to the full-size image. Then put
your cursor on the image and right-click. When a menu
appears, select "save picture as", and save the image in the
"AFL Images" file that you created. The image file
will be saved with whatever format and whatever name I have
given it in my website. Select and save as many of the
images as you want and put them in the same folder.
The images can then be printed on a color printer.
Open the particular image file, and click your print
command, set the orientation as "portrait" or "landscape" as
desired, and print. Various paper and printing media
(Magnetic, transparent, sticky, etc.) are available at
Office Max, Staples, or other office supply outlets.
You can print the images on
such media to create your own stickers. If you don't
know how to do that, put the images on a disk or flash drive
and take them to a Kinko's or other copy store, and see if
they can produce stickers for you. |
